Publication Date: 22.09.2022, 18:00

A new weighing terminal has been introduced.

The Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers plant (part of Uralchem) has launched a new weighing terminal as part of the company’s logistics infrastructure.

The terminal is installed opposite the warehouse of the complex mineral fertilizers department of the ammophos workshop No. 2. The complex is equipped with a video surveillance system, designed for weighing vehicles with a total weight of up to 60 tons and a wheelbase of up to 18 m. The equipment is able to automatically determine the state number of the vehicle and the weight of the cargo. The cost of the facility amounted to 7.5 million rubles (over $123 thousand).

The commissioning of the terminal will improve the accuracy of measuring the weight of shipped products, as well as improve the accounting system for the transportation of material assets.
