# Maaden will resume deliveries to Bangladesh

The previously suspended agreement was revived.

Saudi Arabian Mining (hereinafter – Maaden) has renewed its previously suspended agreement with Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation for the supply of phosphorus fertilizers there. As follows from the agreement, Maaden will meet approximately 40% of the total demand for diammonium phosphate in agriculture in Bangladesh in 2023.

“We will again ship phosphorus fertilizers to Bangladesh, which is a key market for Maaden. The company remains committed to building long-term relationships with the Bangladesh Ministry of Agriculture and Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation, supporting the country’s food security,” said Maaden Vice President Hassan Al-Ali.

Maaden is one of the world’s largest exporters of phosphorus fertilizers and supplies about 20% of the global demand for them. Sales are made in 15 countries.
