Heat generators have been replaced.

The Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers plant (part of Uralchem) has completed the technical re-equipment of gas burners at ammophos workshop No.2, which are designed to uniformly heat the air in the drying drum.

As part of the project, three heat generators (with a capacity of 10 MW each) were replaced with more modern ones (with a capacity of 12.5 MW). A new unit was put into operation, providing the required gas pressure for all technological systems of the ammophos workshop No.2.

“Heat generators are equipped with modern control systems, which made it possible to create a single automated workplace for the operator. Another important result of the project was the formation of a reserve in case it is necessary to increase the capacity of ammophos workshop No.2,” said Sergey Devichev, project manager at Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers.
