# Purchases of mineral fertilizers in the Moscow region in 2022 approached 150 thousand tons

Deliveries are underway for the 2023 harvest.

In 2022, farmers and agricultural enterprises of the Moscow region purchased 146.4 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers.

“For the harvest of 2022, 134.3 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were used. For the harvest of 2023, 12.1 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers have already been purchased,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow region.

To maintain the volume of gross harvest for the main groups of crops, the government provides subsidies for the purchase of mineral fertilizers. In 2022, 90 applications were considered and more than 330 million rubles (over $4.5 million) were allocated to transfer them to the enterprises by the end of 2022.
