# Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service monitors fertilizer prices

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia is monitoring the situation in the Russian market of mineral fertilizers, its head Maxim Shaskolsky said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Work is underway to provide Russian agricultural producers with mineral fertilizers in the required volume at affordable prices. Cooperating with colleagues from the ministries, we have developed a trade and marketing policy that takes into account the procedure for setting prices for fertilizers, the procedure for indexing such prices, and the maximum profits for distributors,” Maxim Shaskolsky reported.

According to his statement, the largest chemical companies have already approved their trade and marketing policies and the Federal Antimonopoly Service ensures control over their implementation. Therefore, farmers and agricultural enterprises will be provided with mineral fertilizers in full and at affordable prices.
