Such measures are surely illegal.

170 wagons with potassium chloride, including those produced by Belaruskali, were arrested in Ukraine, the press-service of the country’s Prosecutor General reported.

The total volume of arrested potassium chloride is 118 thousand tons, its cost is almost 100 million hryvnias (about $2.7 million). Cars loaded with potassium chloride were in the territory of the Mykolaiv Sea Commercial Port (formerly Nikolaev).

Arrested potassium chloride is planned to be transferred to the Ukrainian National Agency for the investigation of assets obtained due to corruption and other crimes.

In January of this year, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against 182 enterprises, among them – against Belaruskali.
