# Togliattiazot started using a new carbamide cooling scheme

Publication Date: 14.03.2023, 18:00

The efficiency of the process has increased significantly.

Togliattiazot specialists continue to work on improving technological processes in the production of carbamide. The developed cooling scheme of granules allows to reduce fertilizer water absorption, which reduces the time of shipment of the finished product.

During the test of the new process, the granules were cooled by more than 2 times. At the same time, the hygroscopicity of the product has decreased, the excess of which leads to a decrease in fertilizer efficiency. With such cooling scheme, there was no need to send the product to the warehouse. Now it can immediately be shipped from the conveyor to mineral carriers.

Togliattiazot specialists have checked the efficiency of the scheme and are already working on a carbamide cooling system during summer.
