Brussels denies accusations of blocking supplies.

The Belgian Foreign Ministry welcomes the extension of the grain deal. Brussels claims that it’s doing everything necessary to export fertilizers owned by Russian companies.

A statement on the website of the Belgian Foreign Ministry says that in the face of shortages, Belgium is working closely with the World Food Program and the UN to facilitate the transportation of fertilizer components owned by Russian companies stocked in Belgian ports to other countries.

Brussels strongly rejects accusations of Russian government against European countries of blocking supplies. The Belgian government notes that the EU has not imposed sanctions on the export of fertilizers. The Belgian Foreign Ministry is of the opinion that the cause of the global food crisis is the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Moscow denies the accusations from the European authorities.
