From June 1, the quota for the export of mineral fertilizers from Russia may be about 18 million tons. It will be valid until November 30, 2023. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has already prepared a corresponding draft and published it on its web site. “From June 1 to November 30, 2023, we require to establish a quantitative restriction on the export of mineral fertilizers from Russia to countries that are not members of the Eurasian Economic Union of approximately 17.938 million tons,” the draft law says. It’s noted that the restrictions will not apply to supply fertilizers to South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
