PhosAgro, one of the world’s leading producers of phosphorus fertilizers, has started looking for a licensor for the construction of a complex for the production of carbamide and ammonia. The cost of the project is estimated at $1.5 billion. The design capacity of the plant is 1 million tons of carbamide and ammonia per year.

Representatives of the company said that the implementation of this project would completely cover the need for ammonia at the enterprises of Volkhov and Cherepovets. Today, own capacities cover 75% of the company’s needs for this raw material.
