The first batch of fertilizers amounted to 200 thousand tons.

Russian mineral fertilizers, which had previously been blocked under EU sanctions, departed from the Riga Seaport in the direction of Kenya. It happened by order of the UN World Food Program.

The volume of the first batch of mineral fertilizers from Russia amounted to 200 thousand tons. Shortly, within the framework of the World Food Program, it’s planned to send several more batches of sanctioned mineral fertilizers from Latvia. Thus, assistance is provided to countries in dire need of such products.
