# Russian scientists created a new fertilizer for growing plants in the Arctic

Scientists from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia have created a special nutritional composition. Thanks to it and the technology of soilless cultivation, crops can be obtained even in the Arctic.

Scientists believe that in the near future, this development will provide food for people living on extreme territories, including in the Arctic zone.

In the conditions of the Far North, it’s impossible to get a high yield without a balanced diet rich in micro and macro elements. Hydroponic plants with circulating nutrient solutions can help with this.

Russian scientists have managed to create an analog of the common nutritional composition of GHE. The difference in domestic development is in higher nitrogen content, improved stability of the finished solution, and a wider range of microelements.
