The project was decided to be completed at the pre-investment stage.

Uralchem management has decided to terminate the project for the construction of a plant for the production of nitrogen fertilizers in Angola. This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralchem Dimitry Tatyanin, who gave an interview during the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Dimitry Tatyanin said that the company is open to sign joint projects around the world. Moreover, it doesn’t have to be acquisitions or mergers. As of today, Uralchem does not intend to acquire any company.

The Angola plant was supposed to produce 1.3 million tons of carbamide per year.
