The Iranian ambassador to Belarus has welcomed Minsk's potash export pledge

Belarus has agreed to supply 400,000 tonnes of potash fertilizers to Iran, the Mehr news agency reported on Tuesday.

The outlet quoted Iran’s ambassador to Belarus as saying on Sunday that the two countries have inked a ‘very good contract’. Alireza Sanei added that Belarus and Iran have also been working well together in the oil and gas sector.

Mehr went on to quote Sanei as saying that ‘Iran and Belarus can supplement each other, cooperate, and in this way they can withstand these unfair tough economic sanctions imposed against the two countries.’
