# CHS to build fertilizer storage facility in Minnesota

Publication Date: 23.01.2024, 18:00

The company said its new fertilizer hub should be ready in spring 2025.

CHS said on Monday that it is building a new 25,000-tonne fertilizer storage hub in Hallock, Minnesota, that will help it to meet its customers’ demand for crop nutrients.

The agribusiness said that it expects the facility, which will be located on the same site as the CHS canola plant, to open in the spring of next year.

CHS’s executive VP, Rick Dusek, commented that ‘CHS is dedicated to investing in the cooperative supply chain on behalf of our ag retail farmer-owners. This new facility will help our producers grow their businesses by increasing the speed and space of our assets while connecting with the global crop nutrients supply chain.’
