# Lavie Bio promotes new bio-inoculant for US regenerative agriculture

Lavie Bio, a leading ag-biological solutions company, has announced a collaboration with the global agricultural and supply chain company Ceres Global Ag Corp. The partnership aims to integrate Lavie Bio’s bio-inoculant, Yalos, into Ceres’ regenerative agriculture programs across the United States and Canada.

Ceres’ president and CEO, Carlos Paz, said that regenerative agriculture has a critical role to play in combating climate change and supporting both farmers and the planet. He added that through its collaboration with Lavie Bio, Ceres intends to promote efficient farming practices and offer customized solutions to its strategic partners.

Designed to complement existing farming operations, Lavie Bio says Yalos represents a sustainable alternative to synthetic agricultural products. Ceres aims to leverage Yalos to enhance farmer productivity, fulfill the objectives of millers, and meet broader sustainability goals within the agriculture sector. The company selected it for its 2024 crop-year program in spring wheat, durum, and oats segments.

The microbial-based inoculant is designed to enhance plant performance by improving nutrient use efficiency and yield, thereby increasing growers’ profitability and contributing to environmental sustainability and soil health. It is provided in the form of water-dispersible granules (WDG) and applied as a seed treatment.
