# New Pakistani program invites 1,000 agriculture grads to get advanced training in China

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a new initiative that will send 1,000 agriculture graduates to China to gain advanced training and education in the agricultural sector. This program is part of a broader effort to build the capacity of Pakistan’s agricultural professionals and improve the nation’s food security.

Under the scholarship program, Pakistani students will have the opportunity to learn about modern agricultural practices, including the use of innovative technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in farming.
