# Russian scientists developed a solution that increases grain crop yields

Publication Date: 22.01.2025, 10:00

Researchers from MIPT and Yaroslavl State Technical University worked together on the new agricultural product.

Specialists from the Yaroslavl State Technical University (YSTU) and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) have developed an innovative growth regulator for grain crops. The new product has successfully passed field tests in the Yaroslavl Region, where it has demonstrated high efficiency: the yield has increased by 1.5 times, and the maturation of plants has accelerated by 7-10 days.

The product is based on sulfonyl propionic acid salt and is a structural analog of phytohormones. Laboratory tests have confirmed its safety for the environment and humans, making it a promising solution for sustainable agriculture.

The developers plan to release the product in two forms: a ready-made solution for farmers and a concentrate for large agricultural enterprises. This will allow the product to be adapted to the needs of different users and production scales.
