Polish chemical producer expands export reach with 36,640-tonne shipment from Police facility.

Grupa Azoty has completed a record shipment of 36,640 tonnes of fertilizer from its Seaport in Police to South America, marking the largest operation of its kind in the facility’s history. The fertilizer will be used in agricultural production across the continent.

The loading operation was conducted using Grupa Azoty’s port infrastructure and maritime logistics, underscoring the company’s capacity to handle large-scale exports. The group views the milestone as a step toward strengthening the presence of Polish chemical products in international markets.

Grupa Azoty stated that recent improvements in its sales strategy and product offering contributed to stronger results in the first quarter of 2025. Preliminary data show an 18% year-on-year increase in total sales volumes, with nitrogen fertilizer sales up by 22%.
