# Zenfert 24N fertilizer certified for biostimulant effects

Lovochemie’s zeolite-based nitrogen fertilizer receives certification after audit and field trials.

Lovochemie’s nitrogen fertilizer ZENFERT 24N has been officially certified for its biostimulant properties, following an audit and notification process conducted by the Dutch company EFCI Register. The certification was granted in early 2025, after a review of analytical tests, field trials, and operational assessments initiated in September 2024.

ZENFERT 24N is formulated with natural ground zeolite, a mineral known for its large internal surface area and capacity to enhance nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) in crops. According to the audit, the product demonstrated a consistent ability to improve crop yields and nutrient uptake in oilseeds, cereals, and other tested crops.

The biostimulant certification recognizes the product’s specific effects on crop development beyond basic nutrient supply, including improved soil structure, water retention, and reduced nitrogen leaching. The product also supports better cation exchange in the soil, particularly in dry regions.

Lovochemie stated that a similar certification is underway for ZENFERT NS 13–29, another product in the company’s line.

ZENFERT 24N is recommended for various crops, including winter wheat, winter rapeseed, cabbage, winter barley, potatoes, and carrots. With a nitrate-ammonium ratio similar to NAC 27 N, it can be applied broadly during the fertilization period. The fertilizer is produced in the Czech Republic and features light green granules ranging from 2.0 to 6.3 mm in size.
