Publication Date: 09.07.2025, 10:00

Jim Bishop to become CEO in 2026; John Muehring named Vice President of Operations.

Stueve Construction has announced key leadership changes effective January 2026, as long-serving CEO Reynold Franklin prepares to retire. Franklin will step down as CEO at the end of 2025 and transition to the position of Chairman of the Board, continuing to support the company’s strategic direction.

Franklin has led Stueve Construction through a period of substantial growth and operational development. The company credited his leadership with helping establish a strong foundation for future expansion in the agricultural construction sector.

Jim Bishop, who has held senior roles in the company for the past four years and brings more than 35 years of experience in engineering and construction, will succeed Franklin as CEO. Bishop is currently overseeing the leadership transition and will assume full responsibilities at the beginning of 2026.

As part of the transition, John Muehring will take over as Vice President of Operations. Muehring, whose background includes extensive project management in the agricultural industry, will be tasked with leading execution strategies across Stueve’s construction portfolio.

Founded in 1958, Stueve Construction has completed more than 1,400 fertilizer projects across North America. The company specializes in the construction and renovation of dry and liquid fertilizer plants, offering in-house engineering and dedicated on-site management.

The company said the leadership changes reflect its long-term commitment to delivering construction solutions with integrity, safety, and technical precision.
