Rustavi Azot, one of Georgia’s largest fertilizer producers, has signed a $65 million loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support the expansion and modernization of its operations.

According to the company, a substantial portion of the financing is structured as a green loan aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing the plant’s environmental footprint.
