Syngenta Bangladesh has launched **Synnovator**, the country’s first private-sector facility dedicated to Insect Resistance Management (IRM), designed to protect crops against evolving pest threats and bolster long-term food security. The initiative, unveiled on 20 August, is positioned as a milestone in agricultural research and innovation. As climate change accelerates pest adaptation, conventional crop protection methods are losing effectiveness. Synnovator will focus on resistance monitoring, insect biology research, and host–pest interaction profiling to develop evidence-based strategies for farmers. “Innovation fuels Syngenta’s mission.
