Lindsay Corporation has secured an irrigation supply agreement valued at about $80 million in the Middle East and North Africa, a contract that will contribute roughly $70 million in revenue in the current fiscal year and underscores the company’s exposure to large, government-backed agricultural projects in arid regions.

The Omaha-based manufacturer will provide Zimmatic center-pivot irrigation systems alongside its FieldNET remote management and scheduling technology. Deliveries are expected to begin immediately and continue through fiscal 2026. The project is designed to support localized food production, a priority for MENA countries seeking to reduce food imports while managing limited water resources.

Randy Wood, Lindsay’s president and chief executive, said the agreement builds on the company’s established presence in the region and reflects the importance of digital tools in large-scale irrigation deployments. He pointed to FieldNET as a key differentiator in managing water use and improving productivity across extensive farming operations.

The contract comes as governments and large agricultural operators across the Middle East and North Africa increase spending on precision irrigation and agri-technology to address climate pressure, population growth and food-security concerns. Such projects typically favor suppliers with both hardware scale and integrated software platforms, an area where Lindsay has been expanding.

Founded in 1955, Lindsay is best known for its irrigation equipment and digital farm-management systems, while also operating a smaller transportation infrastructure business focused on road-safety and traffic-management products. The MENA agreement ranks among the company’s larger recent international projects and reinforces irrigation technology as a core driver of near-term revenue.
