CHS has installed a new seed treatment blender at its Rockford, Washington, facility, expanding its seed treatment capabilities in the Pacific Northwest and enhancing service to regional growers. The addition marks the fifth blender introduced under the company’s Seed Treatment Inoculant customized blending program since 2011. The Rockford unit enables CHS to produce tailored seed treatment blends for traditional cereal crops as well as specialty segments, including large-seeded vegetables. The company said the customized formulations are designed to address early-season disease and insect pressure and other agronomic challenges common across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana.
