Founder Reuben Rampersad to continue overseeing product innovation as the crop input company scales its molecular fertilizer platform.

[Stimera](https://stimera.ag), a crop science company formerly known as BioAge, has appointed Lon E. Kreger as chief executive officer as it seeks to expand commercialization of its molecular fertilizer technology.

The company said the leadership transition marks a shift from product validation and early market development toward broader commercial growth. Kreger will oversee global business expansion, while founder and president Reuben R. Rampersad will continue to lead product development and innovation.

Stimera develops patent-pending molecular foliar fertilizers designed to enable nutrients to behave more like biostimulants. Its flagship product, Nitro-Gro, is intended to modify the molecular structure of nutrient inputs so they can enter plant leaves more rapidly, stimulate electrochemical nutrient transport, and accelerate plant metabolism.

According to company materials, the platform targets yield increases of around 30%, crop cycles shortened by up to two weeks, and up to five times return on investment within a single growing season.

Kreger’s appointment comes as the company moves from regional product development toward a broader global commercialization strategy. Stimera plans to distribute its products through agricultural retailers, distributors, and manufacturing partners.
