Relentless Ag is launching a line of crop input products formulated for drone application, as agricultural retailers and service providers increasingly turn to unmanned aerial systems to manage in-season field operations. The products, developed in partnership with Meristem Crop Performance, are pre-mixed for low-volume aerial spraying, a format the companies say is intended to reduce preparation time and simplify application logistics. Drone-based spraying has gained traction in recent years, particularly in situations where ground equipment is constrained by weather or crop conditions. However, adoption remains uneven across regions and crops, with cost, regulation and operational scale continuing to shape usage. Relentless Ag said its initial lineup includes four products spanning plant growth regulation, foliar nutrition and spray adjuvants. These include a plant growth regulator registered with the Environmental Protection Agency, a potassium- and sulfur-based foliar fertilizer, an adjuvant designed to improve spray coverage, and a nutrient product formulated to support phosphate availability and plant development. The formulations are tailored to drone application requirements, where lower carrier volumes typically require more concentrated inputs. Doug Coe, co-founder of Relentless Ag, said the approach is intended to improve application timing and consistency in the field. Jared Cox, also a co-founder, said the product line reflects operational adjustments made as the company has expanded its drone-based services. Meristem Crop Performance said the collaboration is aimed at developing localized product solutions, particularly in parts of Ohio where drone usage has been increasing.
