The Lindsay Setorial deal comes as fiscal 2026 revenue fell 6% to $635.9M, with Brazil central to offsetting softer North American demand.

Lindsay plans to acquire Setorial Irrigação, a Brazilian maker of hose reel irrigation systems, to expand beyond center pivots in one of its fastest-growing markets, the Omaha-based company said in an October SEC filing.

Setorial builds its hose reels in Limeira, São Paulo state. Lindsay expects the company to keep its brand, plant, team and leadership after closing. The deal lets Lindsay sell Setorial reels through its national dealer network, offer Zimmatic pivots to Setorial's base of mills, cooperatives and growers, and take Setorial into wider Latin America. Mobile hose reels cover irregular, temporary or smaller fields that pivots cannot reach. Financial terms were not included in the investor presentation.

The Lindsay Setorial deal arrived with fiscal 2026 results. Revenue fell 6% to $635.9M, as irrigation sales dropped $26.5M on lower MENA project work and weaker volumes in North America and Brazil. Lindsay expects North American irrigation demand to stay tempered until commodity prices and farm income improve, and called Brazil central to its long-term international growth.

Lindsay competes with Valmont and Reinke, whose [E3 center pivot won an AgTech Breakthrough award](https://www.fertilizerdaily.com/20260911-reinke-e3-center-pivot-irrigation-innovation-award-2026/) in September. Brazil's irrigated area remains small relative to its cropland, which equipment makers see as long-term upside.
