AgroGard was established in 2003 on the basis of the agricultural enterprises of Krasnodar region by a total area of 50 thousand hectares. In 2008-2009 there was an essential increase in assets of the company by means of acquisition of new enterprises in Central Black Earth region. Nowadays AgroGard is one of the largest Russian agricultural holdings. The total agricultural area covers more than 155 thousand hectares, the company has 10.27 thousand heads of livestock. AgroGard manpower consists of 2 800 employees.
