Fertiglobe plc is a UAE-headquartered producer and distributor of nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia, with a strong focus on sustainable agriculture and low-carbon energy solutions. The company is the world’s largest seaborne exporter of urea and ammonia combined and the largest nitrogen fertilizer producer by production capacity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Fertiglobe operates four production facilities in the UAE, Egypt, and Algeria, with combined capacity of approximately 6.6 million metric tons of urea and merchant ammonia per year. Its commercial network reaches customers across Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

Fertiglobe was established in 2019 as a strategic partnership between OCI Global and ADNOC. In October 2024, ADNOC completed the acquisition of a majority stake in the company. Today, Fertiglobe operates as an ADNOC company and is focused on expanding its nitrogen product portfolio, strengthening its global distribution network, and developing renewable and low-carbon ammonia solutions as part of its Grow 2030 Strategy.

## Products and Services

- **Granular Urea** — nitrogen fertilizer with approximately 46% nitrogen, supplied to agricultural and industrial customers.
- **Merchant Ammonia** — used as a direct fertilizer and as a feedstock for industrial chemicals and nitrogen fertilizers.
- **Renewable Ammonia** — ammonia produced using hydrogen generated through electrolysis powered by renewable electricity.
- **Low-Carbon Ammonia** — ammonia produced using low-carbon hydrogen, including hydrogen generated from natural gas with carbon capture and storage (CCS).
- **Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)** — a urea-based solution used to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines; also known as AdBlue in Europe.
- **Automotive Grade Urea (AGU)** — a product category Fertiglobe is expanding as part of its Grow 2030 nitrogen product strategy.
- **Nitrogen fertilizer production and distribution** — manufacturing, marketing, storage, and distribution of nitrogen products through its international commercial network.
- **Low-carbon and renewable ammonia development** — development of projects involving green hydrogen, renewable ammonia, carbon capture, and other decarbonization technologies.
