AFG National increased potato yield

AFG National started to harvesting early potato in Nizhny Novgorod Region, with an average yield of 600 average yield of 600 centners per 1 ha. By comparison, the average potato yield in the industrial sector in Russia is 230 centners per 1 ha, in Nizhny Novgorod Region – 273 centners.

Since early potatoes are in great demand, they are, as a rule, not stored, instead they are sold right away: they are washed, packed, and sent to retail chains,’ said Valery Maslanov, director of AFG National NN.

In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, AFG National grows potatoes and open-field vegetables. AFG National has supplied more than 4 thousand ha. of local lands with irrigation for 4 years.
