Trammo acquires Lemm Corp to expand reach in chemical industry
Trammo, Inc. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Trammo Terminals, Inc., has acquired Lemm Operations, LLC, a key operator and provider in engineering and terminal management services for chemical facilities across the United States. Founded in 1963, Lemm Corp is trusted by top chemical industry names for its expertise in chemical storage and terminal management.
Trammo has a long history with Lemm Corp, which has managed operations at Trammo’s anhydrous ammonia terminals in Meredosia and Niota, Illinois, and its nitric acid production facility in North Bend, Ohio. This enduring and successful partnership led Trammo to believe the acquisition will support its strategic vision and ensure the safety and security of its terminal operations.
Beyond its work with Trammo, Lemm Corp manages and operates facilities for major chemical companies throughout the United States. With extensive experience in handling the receipt, storage, transloading, and shipment of various commodities, including anhydrous ammonia, sulfuric acid, sodium cyanide, acetone, methanol, and methyl methacrylate, Lemm Corp adheres to the highest safety standards in compliance with U.S. regulatory and Homeland Security agencies.
