Poland wants to support the development of innovative fertilizers

On November 14, the National Center for Research and Development (Poland) will begin accepting applications for participation in the competition for the creation of environmentally friendly fertilizers. The applications should be submitted by January 14, 2020. The budget for the contest is 200 million zlotys (approximately 51.3 million dollars).
As the director of the Center, Wojciech Kamieniecki, explained the projects can be submitted by fertilizer companies and scientific organizations that “understand the needs of modern agriculture” and strive to minimize the negative impact of mineral fertilizers on the natural environment.
“We want to encourage all entrepreneurs and scientists who base their business on this approach to develop their projects, offering them support in the form of a dedicated competition,” he emphasized.
