Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers will revamp a key workshop

Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers (part of Uralchem) has begun the re-equipment of the wet-process phosphoric acid №3 workshop. The implementation of the project contemplates an increase in production output from 180 to 190 thousand tons per year.

The workshop began operating in 1973. It started with the power of 125 thousand tons, and then its working capacity has been increased to the present value. Further expansion requires reparation and re-equipment of the workshop.

The working procedure will affect all stages of the processing chain: extraction, filtration and evaporation stages. Senior Project Manager of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers Sergey Podguzov noted: “We are currently developing detailed design and purchasing process equipment. We are also preparing a tender process to dismantle the vacuum-evaporator installation. We plan to start working in the workshop in July and complete the project in October together with turnaround maintenance.”
