Russia is ready to expand fertilizer exports

Russia is ready to increase the supply of mineral fertilizers for export, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with the founder of Uralchem, Dmitry Mazepin.

“We are ready to expand export activities with all partners, without any exception,” he said.

According to the statement of Vladimir Putin, the blocking of Russian fertilizers in the ports of the European Union is unacceptable.

“I was directly contacted on this issue by the leaders of several African countries, who, of course, do not understand what is happening. We constantly hear about the need to help the poorest countries, however, our deliveries, even gratuitous ones, are blocked by certain governments due to reasons completely unrelated to food security. This is completely unacceptable but it’s happening,” Vladimir Putin said.
