The export of Russian fertilizers is still hampered

There are no significant shifts in the implementation of the part of the grain deal relating to the promotion of Russian agricultural products and mineral fertilizers on the world market, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Vershinin said.

“The deal consists of two parts. The first one provides for the export of Ukrainian grain and the second provides for ensuring access of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to the world market. In the second part, we do not see significant progress but we will achieve this together with the UN,” Sergey Vershinin said.

According to his statement, Western countries still do not fulfill their promises regarding the access of Russian fertilizers and agricultural products to the global market.

“Western countries do not keep their promises in practice to provide unimpeded access to mineral fertilizers and agricultural products from Russia,” Sergey Vershinin claimed.
