Almaz Fertilizers increased its net profit by 27 times
The Almaz Fertilizers plant (city of Lermontov, Stavropol region) made a net profit of 516.4 million rubles (about $6.7 million) last year. In 2021, this indicator amounted to 19.2 million rubles (approximately $249 thousand).
The company’s revenue also increased to 8.7 billion rubles (by 46% to almost 112.8 million).
In 2022, thanks to the modernization of the enterprise, the production of mineral fertilizers increased to 25 thousand tons (by 16.7%). According to Vyacheslav Baikalov, General Director of the Almaz Fertilizers plant, significant optimization of business and production processes, as well as investments in equipment upgrades, have made it possible to increase the production capacity of monopotassium phosphate and monoammonium phosphate.
Recall that Almaz Fertilizers is engaged in the production of nitrogen compounds and fertilizers: diammonium phosphate, monoammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, monopotassium phosphate, ammophos and sulfoammophos.
