During the Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, Alieu Tunkara, a member of the Malian parliament, said that his country, which is experiencing great problems due to infertile lands, is grateful to Russia for the supply of fertilizers and wheat. According to his statement, this was done on time.

Alieu Tunkara said that Mali has an acute issue regarding the supply of fertilizers. Since the land in the country is infertile, fertilizers are a strategic product.
