Bruce Bodine Will Replace Joc O’Rourke as President and CEO of The Mosaic Company

The Mosaic Company has announced a significant leadership transition as Joc O’Rourke, the current President and CEO, plans to retire. The company’s Board of Directors has unanimously elected Bruce Bodine, presently the Senior Vice President (SVP) of North America, as the incoming Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2024.

Mr. O’Rourke has already relinquished the title of President and will officially step down as CEO and a member of the Mosaic Board of Directors on December 31, 2023. He will continue to serve as a Senior Advisor of the company until mid-2024. Simultaneously, Bruce Bodine has been appointed President of the company and has taken a seat on the Mosaic Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Greg Ebel, Chairman of Mosaic’s Board of Directors, commented on Joc O’Rourke’s tenure, stating, “Joc’s leadership over the past 8 years strengthened Mosaic. The company today is larger, more geographically diverse, more resilient and in excellent financial condition. My fellow directors join me in wishing him all the best as he transitions to a well-deserved retirement. The board has full confidence in Bruce and the other members of Mosaic’s talented Senior Leadership Team. Together they will build on Joc’s legacy of success on behalf of all Mosaic stakeholders.”

Bruce Bodine brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served Mosaic and its predecessor company in various executive capacities. These include Senior Vice President roles in Potash and Phosphates, as well as Vice President of Supply Chain. His most recent position as SVP of North America saw him lead the North American Sales team and oversee enterprise-wide operations.
