Ammoni Plans to Launch New Liquid Ammonia Fertilizers Production in Mendeleevsk

The Ammoni company will build the New Fertilizers complex in Mendeleevsk (Tatarstan). This enterprise for the production of liquid ammonia fertilizers (KAS-32) will be the safest in the Volga Federal District. The project has already received the necessary approval from the State Environmental Expertise.

The cost of the project is estimated at 496 million roubles (approximately $5.2 million). Most of this amount will be used to ensure environmental safety. The production will use advanced closed-cycle technology, eliminating harmful emissions into wastewater and the atmosphere. The enterprise’s capacity will allow it to produce about 150 thousand tons of liquid ammonia fertilizers per year. Finished products will be sold on the domestic market. According to the press service of the Mendeleevsk region, production should begin in 2023.
