Exports of fertilizers from Russia to the United States reached a record high

Over the seven months of this year, the United States purchased a record volume of fertilizers from Russia worth $944 million. Last year, during the same period, our chemical manufacturers earned $900 million on the export to USA. The value of exports has increased by 5% this year.

Despite the record result, in July export purchases of fertilizers decreased three times compared to June (to $54.4 million). This indicator is at the level of August 2021.

Russia ranks second in fertilizer supplies to the United States, second only to Canada ($2.8 billion). The top five suppliers also include Saudi Arabia ($484.4 million), Israel ($216 million) and Qatar ($214.2 million).
