KuibyshevAzot reduced ammonia production

In the first half of this year, the KuibyshevAzot (Togliatti, Samara Region) reduced the production of ammonia by 8% to 513.9 thousand tons, of mineral fertilizers – by 1.4% to 249.3 thousand tons (in terms of 100% of nutrients).

Within the overall amount of mineral fertilizers, ammonium nitrate production grew by 2.3% to 332.1 thousand tons, urea – only 0.2% to 179.3 thousand tons, while that of ammonium sulfate fell by 11.5% to 243 thousand tons.

KuibyshevAzot’s revenue decreased by 0.3% to 28.3 billion rubles, while the net profit increased by 11.1% to 3 billion rubles.

KuibyshevAzot is currently building a new urea production unit and is completing the construction of ammonium sulfate-nitrate production plant.
