Bayer has a problem in Russia

The Moscow Arbitration Court is going to consider the case brought by AlfaStrakhovanie, one of the largest private insurance companies in Russia, against AO Bayer, a fully consolidated subsidiary of the German Bayer concern in Russia.
As can be seen from the case materials, AlfaStrakhovanie wants to recover 18,436 rubles (approximately $280) from AO Bayer. The reason for filing the claim has not been communicated yet.
Bayer is one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers. Its Crop Science division supplies herbicides, fungicides and other plant protection products to lots of countries around the world, including Russia.
