The Belgians want to build greenhouse complexes in the Khabarovsk Krai

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Russia, Mr. Jean-Arthur Regibeau, paid a visit to the Khabarovsk Territory, during which he went to see the Avangard Industrial Park. He was presented the investment projects which are currently being implemented in the Industrial Park, the infrastructure benefits of the Park, as well as the possibility of setting new projects on its territory.

Mr. Jean-Arthur Regibeau suggested considering, together with the Agency for Investment and Development of Khabarovsk Krai, the possibility of building modern greenhouse complexes to grow vegetables.

The Agency for Investment and Development of Khabarovsk Krai, together with the Belgian business representatives, are currently preparing a set of engineering solutions for creating greenhouse complexes.

Earlier, the Agency addressed the need to build greenhouse complexes in the Khabarovsk Krai. As it turned out, the supply of protected ground vegetables to the population of the region is 25%, and the joint venture aims to increase this percentage.

It should be added that phosphorus-potash fertilizers are needed to grow vegetables and berries in greenhouses.
