Yara projects strong production growth

In 2019, Yara International, a Norwegian chemical company, (hereinafter – Yara) increased the production of ammonia by 2.1% to 8.479 million tons, however, the output of mineral fertilizers reduced by 0.9% to 22.060 million tons.
Within the total output of mineral fertilizers, urea production grew by 1.4% to 6.417 million tons, while NPK fertilizers decreased by 07% to 5.697 million tons.
In the short term, Yara plans to pay attention to driving profitability by strict distribution of capital and improving the quality of work. Among other things, the company intends to boost production by 4.2 million tons by 2023.
