PhosAgro fights COVID-19 in Cherepovets

PhosAgro has acquired streaming thermal scopes to be installed on the entrance checkpoint of the Cherepovets industrial complex. The company already has eight thermal cameras at the moment and expects to receive four more in May. Two devices will be granted to the city hall of Cherepovets. The city administration is going to install them at the railway and bus stations to monitor the health conditions of new people arriving in the city.

Mayor of Cherepovets Vadim Germanov expressed thanks to PhosAgro. He also noted the importance of the installation of such high-quality equipment to fight COVID-19 more effectively.

General Director of Apatit (part of PhosAgro) Alexander Gilgenberg revealed the amount of money spent to prevent COVID-19. According to him, the total amount of funds allocated by PhosAgro to fight the virus within the company and the cities of their presence exceeds 1.5 billion rubles. And the number will increase.

“As the management of the PhosAgro company has already repeatedly reported, we are actively participating in the life of the cities of our presence. We help to increase the efficiency of the medical institutions and prevent the spread of COVID-19. There is our largest production of phosphoric fertilizer in Cherepovets. And we are productively participating in the work of the city’s COVID-19 control headquarters and the financial social programs,” Alexander Gilgenberg said.
