Acron tests its huge Oleniy Ruchey mining complex
Oleniy Ruchey mine (part of Acron) has started the comprehensive testing of the first stage of the crushing and conveying complex. The length of the main conveyor is more than 3 km. During the commissioning work on the conveyor complex, the ore transportation capacity reached 650 tons per hour.
The launch of the crushing and conveying complex will help the Oleniy Ruchey mine to reduce the cost of ore transportation. In the future, the conveyor system will be developed along with the underground mine.
Oleniy Ruchey is developing the apatite-nepheline deposit of the same name. In the first half of 2020, the enterprise mined over 2.2 million tons of ore and produced over 530 thousand tons of apatite concentrate.
