Garabogazkarbamid plant is actively increasing its production

During eight months of this year, the Garabogazkarbamid plant (part of Turkmenhimiya state concern) produced 766.5 thousand tons of carbamide, thereby increasing its output more than three times. The production of sodium sulfate increased by 3.6 times to 383 thousand tons.

The Garabogazkarbamid plant was launched in September 2019. It can produce up to 1.155 million tons of carbamide per year, using 660 thousand tons of ammonia obtained from natural gas.

Carbamide is one of the most important mineral fertilizers applied in agriculture.
