PhosAgro is planning a large-scale project

By 2025, PhosAgro will commission two new units at the Apatit plant (Cherepovets, Vologda region) for the production of ammonia and carbamide with a capacity of a million tons per year each.

“I confirm that we’ve decided to build a new ammonia unit and a unit for the production of granulated carbamide,” said PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev.

Investments in the project are estimated at more than 100 billion rubles (approximately $1.34 billion).

“I assume that we may start construction next year and receive the first products at the end of 2025,” said Andrey Guryev.

PhosAgro is one of the leaders in the production and supply of mineral fertilizers. Fertilizer Daily believes that the implementation of this project will allow the company to strengthen its positions in both the domestic and global nitrogen fertilizer markets.
