Russia increased potassium fertilizer exports
According to the report of the Federal Customs Service, during the ten months of 2021, Russia increased the ammonia exports by 2.5% to 3.636 million tons.
In the January-October period of this year, sales of potassium fertilizers jumped by 28% to 10.086 million tons, while the export of nitrogen fertilizers remained unchanged, amounting to 11.522 million tons. Exports of complex fertilizers fell by 3.4% to 8.617 million tons.
In monetary terms, sales of ammonia increased by 69.7% to $1.223 billion, potassium fertilizers by 70% to $2.461 billion, nitrogen fertilizers by 51% to $3.104 billion, and complex fertilizers by 49.9% to $3.344 billion.
